Terms of Use

Who provides this
The MEP Automate website and desktop software are provided by Hussein Ragab, a chartered mechanical engineer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). By using the site or installing the software you agree to these terms. Questions: support@mepautomate.com.
Professional responsibility
MEP Automate supports engineering calculation and documentation. It does not replace project-specific professional judgment, code review, authority approval, or the responsibility of the engineer of record. Outputs are preliminary design aids unless and until they are reviewed, adopted, and stamped by a qualified engineer responsible for the project. Standards references identify the published clause a calculation follows; confirming that the referenced edition applies to your project and jurisdiction remains your responsibility.
Subscriptions
Plans. Monthly: $39 per month. Annual: $420 per year. Prices are in US dollars. Depending on your country, sales tax or VAT is either included in the price or added at checkout; the checkout shows the exact amount before you pay.
Founding offer. For a limited number of founding seats, until 31 December 2026 or until they are taken: monthly at $15 per month for your first 3 paid months, then $39 per month; or annual at $350 per year, kept for as long as your subscription stays active.
Free trial. The monthly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required, but nothing is charged during the trial. The first charge is taken when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. The founding discount applies to the first 3 paid months after the trial.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
Price changes. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your renewal. A founding annual price stays at $350 while the subscription stays active.
Seats. One subscription is for one person on up to 2 PCs. The licence is locked to the Machine codes you register. To move it to another PC, write to support@mepautomate.com.
Online renewal. Each licence file lasts up to 36 days, and the tools renew it online by themselves in its last 7 days. Annual subscribers renew this way too, so each PC must go online at least once a month. The tools also check the date online at least every 14 days.
Suspension. Renewal stops if a payment fails and is not recovered, or if a payment is refunded or disputed. A licence file for a refunded or disputed period is withdrawn and stops working.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software for your own engineering work. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, decompile, or reverse-engineer the software, or use it to build a competing product. Session files you create belong to you and stay on your machine.

Payments and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle collects the payment, issues the tax invoice / receipt, and handles refunds and chargebacks.
After payment, the checkout takes you to our licence page, where you register the Machine code of your PC and download a signed licence file. That file unlocks the Windows suite for the paid period. We do not send licence files by email.
Keep that page's address. If you lose it before you register your PC, write to support@mepautomate.com from your checkout email and we will send it back. For a lost file or a second PC, use Get my licence.
Card statements may show Paddle.net and MEP Automate.
Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Billing is monthly or annual in advance. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; no further charges follow cancellation. Session files you create stay on your machine. Refunds are described on the Refunds page.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site and software are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the site or software is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Standards and third-party content
NFPA, ASHRAE, BS, EN, IEC, IPC, SMACNA, DEWA, and other referenced standards are the property of their respective publishers. The software cites clause numbers and applies published methods; it does not reproduce the standards themselves, and you need your own licensed copies for authoritative text.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai.
